The unit is at 723 N. Delaware St., on the second floor of the hospital’s Pavilion M building. It is designed for adolescents 17 years and younger and will manage its young patients’ substance withdrawal and connect them to community resources that can assist with ongoing treatment of their Substance Use Disorder.
“We hope to meet our community partners as we work together to address the fentanyl overdose epidemic and other substance-related problems,” said Dr. Christian Thurstone, director of the hospital’s Department of Behavioral Health, which is the state’s largest provider of addiction treatment services.
