Smart Colorado, a nonprofit organization focused on protecting youth from the harmful effects of marijuana use and legalization, has produced a video featuring perspectives that often don’t make it into news coverage.
In Colorado, marijuana use among adolescents has increased despite claims that regulation will keep the drug out of young people’s hands.
As the video’s narrator reports: “Addiction counselors question an adult law that clearly continues to affect the younger generation with access all over the state, especially the new ways to consume potent pot, the edibles.”
The video features Dr. Christian Thurstone — who invites your questions about adolescent marijuana use and treatment for adolescent addiction.
